KNX RF Multi is the latest generation of wireless KNX technology – developed to take comfort, security and flexibility to a whole new level. It enables the simple, wireless extension of existing KNX TP systems or the set-up of a fully wireless installation, without the need for any new cables.

Multi-channel capability, communication with confirmation of receipt (Fast Acknowledge) and KNX Secure ensure that the system prevents faults and is optimally protected against manipulation. If customers subsequently require additional functions, if rooms need to be used differently or if something has been forgotten, KNX RF Multi offers immediate, clean retrofit solutions without additional effort.

Another benefit is energy efficiency: the Slow Low Energy (SLE) mode ensures long battery life for sensor and actuator components such as the Gira RF Multi servo for KNX.

KNX RF Multi makes retrofitting easy: wireless components that are powered either via 230 V or a battery can be integrated into existing KNX TP systems without the need for any new cables, especially where structural conditions make it difficult or impossible to carry out wiring after the fact – clean, fast and reliable. The Gira KNX RF Multi/TP media coupler for KNX securely connects these two worlds.

When combined with the Gira X1, the installation develops into a fully fledged Smart Home with visualisation, automation and mobile operation via the Gira Smart Home app.

From the secure connection of the wired KNX system to control of lighting, blinds and heating, the KNX RF Multi components provide a complete product family. All the devices are ETS-compatible, can be updated and are protected by KNX Secure.

The Gira RF Multi servo for KNX

The Gira RF Multi servo for KNX makes your radiators smart. Simply replace the existing radiator thermostat and integrate your heating into the KNX system in an energy-efficient manner – no cabling required! It can then be controlled flexibly via the pushbutton sensor 4, the Gira G1 operating device, the Gira Smart Home App or directly on the servo. When combined with sensors and the Gira X1, heating processes can also be controlled automatically, offering more convenience and energy efficiency in your day-to-day life. The battery-operated RF Multi servo for KNX uses the KNX RF Multi’s energy-efficient Slow Low Energy mode, which means that 2xAA standard batteries are sufficient for up to two heating periods.

Simply plug in the Gira RF Multi operating top unit and the Gira System 3000 flush-mounted devices become fully fledged actuators in the KNX Multi system. There are numerous operating options available for this: switches such as pushbutton sensors or wall transmitters; the Gira G1 touch display; the app for on-the-go control; or even preset automated functions.

Thanks to the uniform Gira design, the top units fit seamlessly into the rest of the design line – for perfect integration when retrofitting.

The Gira RF Multi/TP media coupler for KNX

The Gira RF Multi/TP media coupler connects wired KNX TP systems to KNX RF components – securely, bidirectionally and flexibly. At the same time, it can be used as a repeater, ensuring stable wireless coverage even at greater distances or in difficult structural conditions.

The Gira RF Multi data interface for KNX
