The user-friendly Gira Smart Home App turns smartphones and tablets into convenient operating elements for a KNX installation with the Gira X1 or the Gira One system. Whether dimming, switching, roller shutters, blinds, heating control, scenes, timers or other functions of intelligent building technology, the Smart Home can be controlled not only at home, but also away from home. Secure access takes place both on site and remotely via encryption and digital certificates – in the case of the Gira X1 via the connected Gira S1, in the case of Gira One directly via the Gira One server. Various adjustment options, such creating and editing scenes and timers, user rights management, presence simulation or integrating Sonos speakers and lamps from the Philips Hue system, as well as IP security cameras with Gira One, allow the look of the home to be customised.

The free app for controlling the Gira HomeServer and the KNX installation in the building features the uniform Gira interface design. Because of this, users can quickly negotiate the user menu and enjoy the advantages of intuitive menu navigation even while on the move. There is easy access to all control functions regardless of where you are, and a constant overview of all the building technology is available.

Whether on the move or using your home WLAN network: with Gira DCS mobile, Gira is introducing a new highlight for mobile door communication access. As a function in the familiar DCS-IP gateway for iOS and Android smartphones. Now via Gira's own portal solution. Highly encrypted via Secure Data Access, which is also used in Gira S1. New features such as early media, group calls and the award-winning Gira interface design ensure that you know who is at the door even when you are not at home. In the first version, images are updated twice a second. Other functionalities will follow in later updates. An update file will be available for all users who already use a DCS-IP gateway.

The Gira Design Configurator can be accessed online or is available as a free app for iOS and Android mobile devices.
