A brief tap switches the light on or off. A longer press dims the light continuously: If the top part of the rocker is pressed, the light becomes brighter; if the bottom is pressed, the light becomes dimmer. And a connectible brightness memory ensures that a brightness intensity, once set, is always available.
The universal pushbutton dimmer is suitable for all types of lamps, including low-voltage halogen lamps.
