The function template is used in conjunction with the Schüco KNX gateway and the Gira HomeServer "Window/slider element" logic node from the "Schüco\Element type" folder, in order to display status information or perform control functions. One function template and one logic node is required per window/slider element. Notes: Overall functionality depends greatly on the configuration of the Schüco KNX gateway. Depending on the selected behaviour, the display is used for a window or a slider element. It is recommended that functions 1-3 of the Schüco KNX gateway be configured as follows for each element:

• Function 1: Open=1/Close=0
• Function 2: Stop
• Function 3: Positioning movement

The logic node can only be used for analysing slider elements comprising one element or window elements, and converts the status objects of the KNX gateway into values that can be presented by the function template. Detailed information on the KNX gateway and the automation manager can be obtained from Schüco. Important information: You must be present on site in order to be able to operate the window and slider elements via mobile devices. Operation from far away (without visual contact) can lead to unwanted system statuses (e.g. window / slider element is open). The following status information is displayed:

• Status (optional):
• There is no status information.
• The window/slider element is closed.
• The window/slider element is open.
• The window/slider element is open in turned position (only for window/slider element).
• The window/slider element is partially open.
• The window/slider element is opening.
• The window/slider element is closing.
• There is an element error.
• The window/slider element is opened to max.

Optionally, all actions can be equipped with PIN protection.
