The module uses an ongoing meter reading to calculate the current daily value, the daily value of the previous day, the meter reading of the previous day, the average of the value of the current day and the previous day, and the trending development of the daily value compared to the previous day.

It is used to calculate daily (peak) values from the ongoing meter readings. In connection with the HomeServer Elapsed-hours meter logic module, a daily value for the elapsed hours (e.g. of a machine or light, etc.) can be determined and archived, and the meter readings can be displayed, e.g. in a plug-in.
